After changing a few jobs, he finally finds stability working as a Huber driver. His best friend is Sully Tran (Koa Nuen), a Vietnamese-Australian young teacher of literature and openly gay. 

To make his Muslim family happy, he dates a fake girlfriend but, he's been struggling with his sexuality till he decides to come out.
