Adam (Ben Whishaw)

is a junior doctor working in a labor ward in London. He lives with his partner Harry (Rory Fleck Byrne). 

They are happy together, and Adam decides to come out to his posh mom (Harriet Walter). Things are getting complicated due to Adam's job.

Double shifts due to limited hospital funding are the tolls to pay in everyday life. For that reason, Adam asks Harry to marry him, but the following events are not as expected
