Justin (Jordan Gavaris) is a divorced gay man returning from abroad to reconnect with his birth daughter, Billie. To bond with Billie, Justin brings her to the lake in Ontario, where he spent most of his childhood summers.

Riley (Travis Nelson) is a local artist, handyman, and store operator.
